Shenton Brokers is an insurance broker in Singapore. We compare general insurance from several insurers in one place: travel, personal accident, maid, home, pet and car.

What we do

• We ask once. You answer the questions the insurers need, and we price each insurer's plans from those answers.
• We rank by premium. Plans are listed from the lowest premium up, with the benefits that differ between them side by side.
• You buy from the insurer. When you choose a plan, you continue to the insurer's own site with your answers carried over. The insurer takes payment and issues the policy.
• We stay with you. When the insurer tells us about a policy you bought through us, it appears in your account here with the details we receive (insurer, policy number, dates and premium), renewal reminders and the insurer's claims contact. Your policy documents come from the insurer; your account explains how to get copies.

What we do not do

• We do not take payment, and we do not issue policies. Only the insurer does.
• We do not decide claims. The insurer that issued your policy does; our claims help page explains how to make one.
• We do not choose a plan for you. The comparison sets out each plan's premium, excess and benefits so you can decide.

How we are paid

Insurers pay us commission when you buy a policy through us. Commission never affects the order in which plans are shown. Our disclosures explain this in full.
